The pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly will cap out-of-pocket insulin costs at $35 per month for all patients, according to NBC News. The Inflation Reduction Act previously imposed a $35 cap on insulin for Medicare beneficiaries, but Eli Lilly's new policy will automatically extend the lower price to privately insured patients as well. Uninsured patients are also eligible for the cap if they enroll in the drug company's copay assistance program.
