A new meta-analysis of 17 studies finds that blue light-blocking glasses don't deliver any real benefits, according to NBC News. While sellers often claim that the glasses protect users from eyestrain and retina damage related to screen time, it's unknown whether blue light actually causes these problems. Researchers also found that the glasses filtered only a fraction of blue light from screens, which already emit very little blue light anyway.
