When you were a kid, did an adult ever tell you to act your age? Are you still doing it?

Well if you refuse to act your age, or you have a different idea of how you should act at your age, check out the blooming crop of senior influencers on Instagram and TikTok.

Tsuyoshi and Tomi Seki started their Instagram account (bonpon511) in 2016 and have racked up nearly 900,000 followers since then. Married for 44 years, the two are famous for their matching outfits. She wears long comfy dresses with bright patterns, and he typically wears matching shirts. We see them flaunt their colorful style as they visit museums, hike together, and go shopping.

Bold and buff at 59, Irvin Randle is known as "Mr. Steal Your Grandmother." His Instagram (irvinrandle) shows him striding through airports, hotels and on city sidewalks, displaying his masculine and dramatic style — complete with lots of hats.

Instagram and TikTok are full of people showing off their fashion sense, but Wendy Ida's Instagram account (wendyidafitness) focuses on senior fitness, inspiration and 'aging backwards.' At 71, Ida is a senior lifestyle coach who says she is in the best shape of her life.

Lin Slater of Dobbs Ferry, New York, author of the book How to Be Old, features ideas for living, gardening, and socializing on her Instagram (iconaccidental). "There are parts of being old that are wonderful, and there are parts that suck…how do we respond to these challenges in ways that are creative and life giving?"
