Hum a few bars and I'll fake it
You think, therefore, you are who you are. Researchers aim to prove that.
At the University of California, Berkeley, researchers are trying to make your thoughts into a digital password, according to CNet.
The Passthought system, still in development, would use a head set to read your brainwaves then wirelessly transmit them to anything that needs a password. You sing a song in your mind and the device hears it, knows that it is your song, and recognizes your unique brain waves.
It's a thought.
Hand-held gamers: Not defunct
Portable Gaming Systems is kickstarting a hand-held gaming device that will play full-blown PC games like Batman and Dark Souls.
Bigger than an iPhone 6, it runs Windows 10 and Android 6, with smartphone features like Bluetooth, front-and-back cameras and GPS. A WIFI chip could make games stream to a desktop PC.
The device is planned for debut in March 2017, according to gizmag.com.
Tech giants support donor lists
iPhone users in the U.S. will soon have the ability to press a button and become part of the nation's organ donor registry. The button will be in the health panel in the iOS 10 iPhone update.
Facebook, Google and Twitter have also pledged support to develop new tools and public advocacy campaigns.
According to the Obama Administration, 95 percent of the American people support organ donation but only 50 percent are registered, according to The Guardian.
