United Healthcare shut off client access to some of its digital network following an overseas cyberattack on its Change Healthcare subsidiary, leading to delays at thousands of retail and U.S. military pharmacies, according to the New York Times. Numerous pharmacies rely on Change to verify insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs for prescriptions. Affected customers must instead rely on manual processes to fill prescriptions.
