Study: Daily aspirin might increase risk of brain bleeds

Daily low-dose aspirin does little to prevent first heart attacks or stroke, but may increase the risk of bleeding inside the skull in older adults, according to Healthline. Researchers analyzed survey data from over 19,000 older adults and found that daily aspirin did not reduce the risk of ischemic stroke, but increased the risk of hemorrhagic stroke, or bleeding into the skull, by about 38 percent.
