Your diamonds can sparkle like new with this simple technique:
Mix three parts water to one part ammonia and immerse the diamond in the solution.
Use an old toothbrush, make-up brush, or stiff-bristled paint brush to clean the diamond itself and the prongs of the stone.
Rinse the diamond under a faucet and dry with a soft towel.
The solution isn't appropriate for sapphires or emeralds.
Never use soap on a diamond. It leaves a cloudy film.
