Avocado green makes a comeback

If you lived during the mid-20th century, you know that nothing screams "dated" like an avocado and mustard yellow color combo.

But, if you have lived solely in the 21st century, those colors may look awfully new. In fact, they trending and heading into swanky territory.

The color combinations of the 1970s are new again: Mustard, avocado, paired with deep purple, burnt orange and chocolate brown, according to Living Etc.

Designers recommend neutral walls with colors everywhere else. Unless it is the bathroom. Yes, it's true, designers are bringing back the avocado bathroom, the darling of the 1960s and 1970s. This time, patterns are distinctly less floral and more geometric, but you are going to be seeing all shades of green even on bathtubs.
