TSA's strange rules

Traveling by air this summer? Remember there are things you can bring on the plane and things you can't.

If flying domestic, you can bring in live lobsters and fish. Spill-proof containers are a must. You can check the lobsters, but the fish have to ride with you.

Your light sabers and bowling balls are good. But foam swords will be confiscated. Pack your snow globes because, like jars of peanut butter, they aren't going to make it through security.

Worst of all, are British Christmas crackers. We are not talking Saltines here. These are cardboard tubes, wrapped in brightly colored paper, twisted at both ends. One person is supposed to hold each side of the tube and pull. At that point, there is a loud crack and a prize like a paper hat falls out. That crack comes from a tiny dose of gunpowder in the cracker, hence the ban on Christmas crackers.
