Churches adopt QR codes
In the emerging cashless society, churches have gone high tech for collections, especially following the pandemic,
Rather than collecting donations during the service, many churches are printing QR codes on the weekly bulletin that allow members to donate when convenient, without a panicked trip to the ATM before the service.
A 2022 report from Vanco, a payment solutions provider for churches, noted that 49 percent of churches saw an increase in online donations when they offered multiple digital options.
