New research presented recently at the Radiological Society of North America's annual conference showed that e-cigarette users experience immediate decreases in vascular function and oxygen levels whenever they vape — even if their e-cigarette liquid does not contain nicotine. According to CNN, people who used vapes with nicotine experienced the greatest reduction in vascular function, even compared to conventional cigarette smokers. Poor vascular function can lead to complications such as blood clots and stroke.
