A ton of little things go wrong in a home and knowing a bit about repairs can save a lot of time and money.
Today you can see simple repairs by watching videos. They key is knowing which repairs to try yourself.
1 Toilets. They operate with a simple mechanism. Most of the problems with toilets can be solved by replacing simple parts.
2 Faucets. You don't need to be an engineer. Leaky faucets can easily be fixed or replaced even if you aren't a DIY person.
3 Drains. Clog? Try a plunger to clear the clog and skip chemical drain cleaners.
4 Screens. Got a hole in a window screen? If the frame is in good shape, the repairs are easy, according to Family Handyman. It takes minutes to replace screens.
