E-cigarette sales slowed in 2022

Sales of e-cigarettes surged in 2020 and 2021, but flattened during the second half of 2022, according to a new analysis from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC attributes the decline to multiple factors, including restrictions on flavored tobacco products, FDA regulatory actions against e-cigarette makers, supply chain disruptions, inflation, and the rising popularity of disposable e-cigarettes capable of delivering thousands of "puffs."
