West Virginia has held the crown for the most deer-car collisions for 12 years and it still tops the list of most dangerous states, according to the 2018 State Farm deer collision statistics.
Deer-car collisions double in the fall. November is the worst followed by October and December.
Remember if you see one deer, more are around. Brake if you can and avoid swerving, which can end up in a crash. Slow down when you see deer crossing signs and remember the deer might not obey the signs!
