Four studies from a leading Columbia University cancer research lab have been retracted and an additional editorial note added to a fifth due to suspicious data and images, according to the New York Times. Dr. Sam Yoon and biologist Changhwan Yoon are alleged to have inappropriately duplicated images and misrepresented experiment results in all of the retracted and flagged studies. At least 90 other scientific papers cited the faulty studies.
