* Walk for 30 minutes before long road trips or airline flights. Take short walks at stops during a car trip, and walk in the aisles on the aircraft.
* While seated, do easy stretches such as rotating your shoulders and flexing and pointing your toes.
* Elevate your feet by propping them up on luggage or on the dashboard.
* Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water — one glass an hour.
