The Staples Advantage Workplace Index, a survey of office worker satisfaction, found the following five dominant perspectives in the workplace:
1 Sixty-six percent of employees say burnout is hurting their productivity.
2 Sixty-eight percent say 'sustainability' practices are important in choosing employers.
3 About 25 percent say they freelance. Of those about 50 percent say they would leave their current job to freelance if it meant they could have flexible hours.
4 About 40 percent say work flexibility increases work happiness.
