Modern work styles demand new types of personal protection equipment (PPE).
Safety and Health Magazine interviewed some PPE manufacturers and here are some of the features users are demanding:
– Seamless gloves with more flexibility and cut protection.
– Lightweight protective apparel and equipment in garment and faceshield design.
– Fabrics with increased chemical protection, especially for the hands.
– Reflective garments that better retain reflectivity.
– Lighter weight safety shoes that still provide protection.
