The traditional Thanksgiving dinner takes a heaping helping of time, talent, and care, but if you want the works with no fuss, try Nick Argy's Thanksgiving pizza.
The proprietor of Macy's Place Pizzeria in Buffalo, N.Y., puts the entire meal — turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, and cranberry sauce — on his pizza pie, along with mozzarella and cheddar cheese (but no tomato sauce).
Argy is not the only restaurateur working the Thanksgiving angle.
Salt & Straw, an ice cream company, creates an annual menu of Thanksgiving flavors. In 2022, their Caramelized Turkey & Cranberry Sauce ice cream sold well.
Less controversial are the assortment of turkey mashups like Thanksgiving Burritos, available from Burrito Union in Duluth, Minn., or Thanksgiving turkey burgers from 5 Napkin Burger in New York City.
