The sci-fi doctor waves a tiny device over a patients head and instantly knows everything. A new thermometer operates much the same way, except it only displays temperature.
The Thermo by Withings reads your core temperature by waving the device across your forehead. Using a special algorithm the devices uses 16 infrared sensors to take 4,000 measurements in two seconds. Of course it can transfer data to the cloud or your phone.
The $100 device is on sale now at the Apple Store.
