Pool season is over and if you have some pool noodles hanging around, there's little point in storing them, since their surface gets pretty rough the second year.
Instead, use them!
If you are creating a DIY Halloween costume, pool noodles will work great for all sorts of things. They can be bunched together to create french fries and vegetables (carrots, asparagus). They can be coiled into lollipops or bent to make rainbows. They can be decorated as a scepter, pencil, stick pony, spider or broomstick. They can be cut into candy loops.
For decorating, use them for wreaths and character forms.
For a wreath, loop the noodle and cover with fabric or glue on decorations. Noodles make a great wreath form for any season.
Pool noodles make great wicked witch legs, or can be used to form legs and arms of scarecrows or other characters. And of course, spider legs. They make great spider legs.
