NSAIDS linked to hearing loss

Using common pain remedies for more than six years has been linked to a higher risk of hearing loss, according to a study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.

Acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs were implicated in the study. Aspirin use was no associated with a higher risk of hearing loss.

The study followed more than 55,000 women in the Nurses Health Study.
