A quarter of U.S. medical students are considering quitting their studies, according to The Hill. A survey of 2,212 medical students from 91 countries found that the majority were concerned about their income, mental health, and entering the medical field amid ongoing clinician shortages. While 12 percent of all medical students were considering quitting, the number doubled to 25 percent among U.S. medical students.
