A Florida company is developing a technology that might control mosquitoes with light-emitting diodes (LED). Lighting Science Group is researching the perfect light spectrum to trap bugs like mosquitoes while not capturing helpful bugs like butterflies and bees. According to Fortune, the company aims to create a smart trap that can tell which bugs are around and trap the icky ones.
