Persistence is key to reaching your goals — just ask Josh Nalley of Louisville, Kentucky.
For the past year, Nalley has diligently posted daily TikTok videos of himself playing dead on his quest to be cast as a dead body in a TV show or movie, according to the New York Times. This was an odd dream for a guy with zero acting experience, but he was evidently dying for fame.
Under the handle living_dead_josh, he poses by rivers, in abandoned buildings, at restaurants and in parking lots. After more than 200 videos, Nalley's dream came true when CBS asked him to play a corpse on CSI: Vegas. With his goal achieved, Nalley plans to keep posting videos and hopes that by continuing to play dead, he can inspire others to persevere and to think of unique ways to reach goals.
