Job-seeking duo holds TikTok accounts hostage

Today's new graduates have to contend with the strangest job market ever, given the pandemic.

Time to get creative.

Two British men, calling themselves www.veryserious.partners, took 13 popular British advertising brands hostage by creating TikTok accounts under their names. All of the companies had not yet created their own TikTok accounts.

In their video, in which the two each wear black and have their faces completely covered with masks, they say they have taken the TikTok accounts hostage until they get a job. Companies can open negotiations by filling out a form. Once employed, they promise to return the accounts safe and sound.

No word at this writing whether Alex Morris and Oliver Finel, who look perfectly normal, actually got jobs. But video job pitches are probably going to be a trend, thanks to these two.
