If you shop for the family groceries, no one has to tell you food prices are rising.

Eggs famously went from an average of $1.79 in December 2021 to $4.25 in December 2022, according to Market Watch.

And of course, it will come as no surprise that prices are up across the board since 2022, with no signs of dropping.

* Beef: an increase of 16 percent.

* Chicken: an increase of 13.4 percent.

* Milk: an increase of 13.3 percent.
