If you travel a lot, you might want to get lounge access for long layovers. Here's how:
* Buy a first class or business ticket.
* Join an airline's loyalty program.
* Sign up for a travel rewards card or an airline branded card. These may have high annual fees.
* Buy a day pass. Cost can be from $35 to $80 on some lounges.
* Buy an annual membership. A little salty, annual memberships can cost more than $600 per year.
* Buy a Priority Pass for access to 1,700 lounges throughout the world (prioritypass.com). Costs is in tiers beginning at $99 up to $469 for prestige class.
