Food recalls impact popular chain restaurants

Raw onions have been identified as the culprit in a recent E. coli outbreak that has sickened dozens of people in at least ten states and caused one death. According to NBC News, distributor Taylor Farms sold tainted raw slivered onions to selected McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC restaurants. The restaurants have all temporarily removed raw onions from their menus in the affected regions.
