If you are looking for a good dessert for Thanksgiving, your best bet might be vanilla ice cream and a brownie.
According to the International Dairy Foods Association, vanilla once again tops the list of favorite ice cream flavors at 38 percent. Consumers prefer to pair a scoop of vanilla on a brownie (31 percent), followed by cake (22 percent, cookies (17 percent) and pie (13 percent.)
In order, favorite flavors after vanilla were fairly traditional: Chocolate (32 percent), strawberry (25 percent), butter pecan and cookie dough (21 percent each). Also present in the top 10 were chocolate chip, rocky road, and peanut butter cup.
