DIY phone speaker
You have probably been in a situation where more than one person was listening to a phone conversation on speaker mode. If you need the sound to be a tad louder, simply find a small bowl and put the phone inside. That way the sound bounces off the hard surface and is slightly amplified.
Rusty well water?
If your area has well water with a high concentration of iron, you can cut down on the rusty water that goes into your pool. Simply attached a sock to the end of the hose. Most of the rust will stay in the sock.
