Some simple maintenance chores will make your refrigerator last.
1. Wipe down the inside and outside of the door edges. Debris can break down the sealing gasket.
2. Keep the defrost drain clean and debris free.
3. Clean the coils every year. If you don't, the compressor will work harder, use more energy, and likely shorten the life of the fridge.
